Just For Fun #4: Nothing Like Having A Dog

I never knew I was a dog person until I got my dog. I always thought I was a cat person. Boy, was I confused. I still like cats. I'm always up for a good feline. But a dog, they are a different breed. And animal. Literally.
There is this connection that I have with my dog that is special. It might sound corny or cliche but I love corny and cliche. Because corny and cliche is always true. We all know that. He can really understand how I feel and can see when I am feeling up or see when I am feeling down. I work from home most of the time but even when I am having a hard day at home he can tell. There is nothing like getting up from my desk and seeing him look at me wagging his tail and shaking his whole body. It reminds me of Luke Combs song "Front Door Famous" If you don't listen to Luke Combs, please listen to him.
I am not encouraging you to go out tomorrow and buy a dog. I am encouraging you to find that thing (and maybe it is a dog) that just makes you feel something a little extra inside.
Be well, stay young.
